Y!A - What do you think about the term "anti-feminism?
My Answer:
I believe that every "human" is created equal.
That they are all imbued with the same basic rights, obligations and responsibilities.
Among these are the right to have all their basic rights respected by all, the obligation to respect the rights of all, and the responsibility to make sure that everyone's rights are respected.
What does this mean?
That there shouldn't be the need a debate about racism, feminism, or anything else where the basic rights of people are questioned based on their differences.
Everyone should have the same basic rights. Period.
This includes the right to personal independence, the right to their own thoughts, the right to express those thoughts in a peaceful manner, the right to life, the right to have their most basic needs satisfied (yes, nobody should be hungry or homeless since there's enough food and space for all).
Anyone who argues to give one group more rights than another, or to take them away, should be stopped, even if they do so in a peaceful manner. Why?
Because although all are born with the same rights, one should only be allowed to keep the rights that they protect for all.
Anyone who claims the right to take another one's life loses the right to their own life.
Anyone who claims the right to take away the property of another loses the right to their own property.
Anyone who claims the right to intentionally hurt another without an "acceptable" cause, loses their right to be protected from others who would do the same.
Anyone who thinks that another doesn't have the right to personal independence loses the right to their own personal independence.
Anyone who thinks another doesn't have the right to have their own thoughts and express these thoughts peacefully loses their right to do it.
Etc.
The solution?
Allow others the rights you wish to claim for yourself or else they won't be allowed to you. Moreover, it should be the job of the government to implement and enforce this model.
And no, this has nothing to do with communism or socialism, or capitalism, or any other political crap. It's only about basic rights and the protection thereof, it has nothing to do with forcing people to be equal. It has to do with equally forcing people to respect the rights of others.
This model solves all social problems and gets rid of those who would destroy society because of their greed, irrationality, or any other negative personality trait.
